Savta Story

Stories your child makes up with Santa

Savta Story is a storytelling web app for children aged 4 to 7. Your child tells Santa what happens next, out loud, and paper puppets act it out on the screen straight away, with drawings, voices and sound effects. Every story becomes a picture book on your family's bookshelf.

A page of a story in Savta Story: Santa stands beside the open book while cut-out puppets act out the child's story.

How it works

  1. The heroes to choose from: a princess, a king, a dragon, a bear, a wolf, a duck and more. Pick a hero. A princess, a dragon, a wolf, a bear, a duck and more, already waving at your child.
  2. Santa listening while a child presses the red talk button. Say what happens. “The dragon bakes a cake for the duck!” Santa listens, and the puppets do it at once.
  3. The family's bookcase, with the child's own books on its shelves. Keep the book. Read it again with Santa reading aloud, or send it to grandma as a link.

How Savta Story uses AI

An AI model (Google Gemini) listens to what your child says, writes what Santa and the characters say, decides what the puppets do, and draws the things and places in the story. The characters are hand-designed cartoon puppets with made-up cartoon voices: Savta Story never imitates real people. More in our terms and privacy notice.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Open savtastory.fun and start. Your child's books stay on the bookshelf in your browser, and the stories you buy are added to the device you buy them on.

What do I need?

A phone, a tablet or a computer with a web browser and a microphone. Nothing to install. A tablet held sideways is the nicest.

Which languages does Santa speak?

English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.

What happens to my child's voice and words?

The recording is sent to Google only to turn it into words, and it isn't kept. The words are kept in the story's book, so it can be read again; you can throw a book away any time (drag it onto the shredder by the bookshelf). The privacy notice has the details.

Can I get my money back?

Yes: a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason. See the refund policy.

Who makes Savta Story?

Savta Story is made by Ishai Ravid - Writer, an independent maker in Israel. Questions and ideas are always welcome: [support e-mail: to fill in in Santa's Ledger].
