Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the maker of Savta Story. Please read them before you use Savta Story or buy a Story Pack.
1. Who we are
- Savta Story (the “Service”) is provided by Ishai Ravid - Writer, an independent business registered in Israel, trading as Savta Story (“we”, “us”). When you use the Service, your agreement about it is with Ishai Ravid - Writer.
- E-mail: [support e-mail: to fill in in Santa's Ledger]. We answer within two working days.
- By using the Service, or by continuing to use it after these terms change, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The Service
- Savta Story is a web app in which a child makes up a story together with Santa: the child says what happens next, and the story is acted out on the screen with drawings, voices and sounds. Stories are kept as books on the device's bookshelf.
- The Service is made for children aged 4 to 7, used with a parent or another responsible adult. Purchases must be made by an adult (18 or over).
- Families get a number of free stories, as shown on our page for grown-ups. We may change the number of free stories from time to time.
3. Buying a Story Pack
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC). Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells you the Story Pack, takes the payment, sends the receipt and handles refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms.
- A Story Pack adds a number of new stories to the device you buy it on, as described on our page for grown-ups. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: nothing renews, and you are not charged again.
- Prices are shown in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, which Lemon Squeezy collects and pays to the tax authorities. Lemon Squeezy takes payment by card and the other methods its checkout offers.
- Stories from a Story Pack are added as soon as the payment is confirmed. They don't expire, they are used after the free stories, and a story only counts once it has become a book. They belong to the device and browser used to buy them and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred. If they go missing (for example after clearing the browser's data), contact us and we'll help.
- We may change prices and pack sizes in the future. Changes never affect a purchase already made.
4. Refunds
- You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. See our refund policy.
5. Stories made with AI
- Savta Story uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to understand what the child says, to write what Santa and the characters say, to decide what happens on the screen, and to draw things and places. The characters are hand-designed cartoon puppets with made-up cartoon voices; the Service never imitates real people.
- Acceptable use. Use the Service only to make stories suitable for young children. Don't ask it for content that is sexual, violent, hateful, frightening, unlawful or that harms anyone; don't put real people's private information into stories; and don't try to get around its safety rules. The adult using the Service with a child is responsible for what is asked of it.
- Moderation. Stories are steered to be gentle, kind and to end happily. We may filter, change, refuse or remove any request or story, and limit or stop accounts that misuse the Service.
- Accuracy. AI-made content is made automatically and can be wrong, odd or imperfect. Stories are for fun and imagination, not facts or advice. We recommend that an adult stays nearby while a child plays.
- Your stories. You may keep, read, print and share the stories made on your device for personal, non-commercial use. The Service itself, including its characters, drawings, voices and software, remains ours (see section 7).
- Reporting content. If a story or shared book contains something inappropriate or something that infringes your rights, tell us at [support e-mail: to fill in in Santa's Ledger] and we will review it and remove it where appropriate.
6. Things you may not do
- Use the Service unlawfully, for fraud or for spam.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
- Interfere with the Service's security or operation, for example with malware, probing or scanning for weaknesses, scraping, or overloading it.
- Try to get around the Service's limits or payments, or resell the Service.
7. Ownership
- We own the Service and all its intellectual property, including the software, the characters, the drawings, the voices and the name Savta Story, or are licensed to use them. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you.
8. Availability
- We work to keep Savta Story running, but we can't promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. It also relies on services run by others, such as Google's AI. The Service is provided “as is”.
9. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or end access to the Service for a device or user in case of a material breach of these terms, non-payment (including a chargeback), a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use rules.
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
11. Privacy
- How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
12. Changes and law
- We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; a purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
